Matcha Rice Krispie Treats

This is another recipe that we demonstrated at the Winter Fancy Food Show. It was very popular, but more importantly, it was SO easy to make! We used a tablespoon because we're matcha addicts, but you can add a teaspoon if you like yours to be flavored a little more subtle-y.

Matcha Rice Krispies

Matcha Rice Krispie Treats
makes 12 large squares

6 cups popped rice cereal
10 oz marshmallows (1 bag)
3 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Shiki Matcha

1. Melt butter and marshamllow over medium heat in a large saucepan.
2. Once completely melted, remove from heat and mix in cereal and matcha, until well incorporated.
3. Pour the mixture onto a parchment paper lined baking dish and let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Matcha Rice Krispies

We donated some matcha rice krispies to the Cookies Without Borders ~a bake sale for Haiti~. You can read about how it collected more than $5000 dollars, here!
