Matcha Trail Mix

We demonstrated this recipe at the Winter Fancy Food Show and it was a smashing hit! Make sure to use salted nuts and pretzels so that it's a good blend of sweet and salty. It's especially fantastic with walnuts and pecans!

Matcha Trail Mix

2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tsp Shiki Matcha
1 cup salted nuts
1 cup pretzels, broken

1. Heat sugar and water over medium heat in a large skillet.
2. Bring to a boil. Once the micture thickens, remove skillet from heat and add matcha, mixed nuts & pretzel bits.
3. Stir with a wooden spatula until the syrup dries and a light green crust forms on the nuts. Enjoy!
